Happy Birthday Chad!!

I just wanted to wish my best friend in the whole wide world a happy birthday! It's been nearly ten years since I've known Chad and I can honestly say that there has never been a dull moment. He is one of the funniest people I know! This is one of my favorite things about Chad. He is also a fantastic dad! Garrett lights up every time Chad walks in the room. We couldn't ask for a better friend, husband and dad. We love you so much. Happy birthday babe! Hope your day is wonderful!

Time to Catch Up

We've been pretty slack in our updates this summer. We've enjoyed a full plate of parties, BBQ's, Lake Powell, bike rides, and much more. Here is a quick recap of some of the events and pictures of our summer.

Craig, Summer, Heather, Jordie, and I all did the Tour de Donut. Sadly enough, Heather and Jordan soundly out-ate me. I was the only one that didn't feel like garbage afterwards though.

**Disclaimer** We went to Lake Powell in June and it never seems to go as planned. In the last few years, we've had truck tire blowouts, broken water pumps, houseboats floating away (twice), sleeping in strangers basements. Now we can add a blowout on the boat tralier and starting a brush fire to the list of exciting activities.

The Pastor just happened to have a generator on a trailer hooked up to his 4-wheeler and an imapct wrench. Saved a lot of time. Thanks fellas! Danny appreciated the ride back to his trailer.

Salem Spring Triathlon

I competed in my first triathlon a couple weeks ago and had a great time. A big thanks to Heather for sucking me into the sport and being such a great support and an awesome coach, but this post is a shout out to my wonderful wife Jordan. She is my #1 fan and and such an incredible support. She hasn't missed a single one of my races, even though it isn't always fun or easy to be so supportive. Thank you sweetheart for letting me "do my thing." Thanks to all of you for supporting the crazies.

Couldn't have asked for a better day...the weather was perfect. Could've done without the E-Coli in the pond though.

We took a trip to the zoo on Memorial Day and had about as much fun as humanly possible. The weather was perfect and the people watching was even better. I think the kids liked the animals in the cages and the adults were amused by those that weren't in their cages...

Happy Anniversary To Us!!!

Jordie and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary on Monday. I can't believe she's stuck with me for this long. We celebrated by eating BBQ for lunch, burgers for dinner, and going to Ironman 2. Who said romance is dead?!? Happy anniversary sweetheart!

Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day to all the moms out there (at least the ones who look at our blog) and especially to the moms in my life...Jordan, Val, and Patti. You are such special and wonderful women, and each of you add a special element to my life. Mom, I obviously wouldn't be here without you or be the person I am. Jordie, you are such an incredible mother to Garrett and I love watching you with him. You are my best friend. Patti, I couldn't ask for a better mom-in-law and you are such an incredible and caring person. I don't know where I would be without any of you. Have a great Mothers Day!

Happy Birthday Ladies!!!

A special happy birthday to my sisters, Missy and Heather. They are the best sisters, aunts, and sister-in-law that anyone could ask for. Missy, thanks for being the trailblazer in the kid department. Your advice, knowledge, and words of wisdom have been invaluable. Heather, thank you for helping keep me in shape and being such a great running, biking, and soon to be swimming buddy. We hope you have a great birthday!!!
